Membership

Full Professional Membership in the CTS is open to those who teach theology/religious studies on the college or university level and who hold graduate degrees in these disciplines.

Associate Membership is open to those engaged in pastoral work, to retired members of the Society who wish to continue their association, and to those who are in other ways supportive of religious studies and theology.

Student Membership is open to those who are pursuing graduate degrees in theology or religious studies.

Membership Directory (Username and password required; access limited to CTS members.)

• If the Directory doesn't open up or display properly, try an updated browser: Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher version (download info) or Netscape 7.0 or higher version (download info).
• Please scroll down for instructions on how to display information and search the Directory.
• TO EXIT THE DIRECTORY: Click on your browser's home button. In Microsoft Windows, click on the little down arrow to the side of the Back button to see a list of pages you viewed previously. Click on the page you want from the list.
• To update your Directory information, contact EProcariofoley@iona.edu.

Displaying
Directory information displays in two different views: Form view (the default or first view when accessing the Directory) and Table view. The options for the two views appear in the drop-down menu in the left-hand column under "View as:". The List view is not available. The Form view is the best view for reviewing information about individual members. Table view displays up to 50 individual entries at a time. Table view information may extend beyond the right edge of the screen. Scroll right to see any information not immediately visible. Click on any entry in Table view to see that individual's complete directory information. If there is a great deal of information in any particular field, only the first part will display. This is most often true with the Specialization field.

Searching
The Directory can be searched by any of its fields. Click on the magnifying glass icon - , fill in any field, then click on Perform Find, a button on the left side. Only the first few letters need to be entered to get results. For example, typing bar in the Last Name field will retrieve a number of entries with the last names beginning with Bar. Results will be displayed in Form view. If more than one entry was found, click on the right page of the open book icon - - to see subsequent entries and on the left page - - to see previous entries.
