Welcome! Hello
and welcome to my website! I'm
currently a professor of
psychology and chair of the
Department of Counseling,
Developmental, and Educational
Psychology in the Lynch School of
Education. My research focuses on
child development within the
school and home contexts,
temperament, maternal employment
and day care influences on child
development, early adolescent
transitions, and life-span
development. I teach several
courses in the department, at
both the undergraduate and
graduate level. Please feel free
