We are currently recruiting 6-18 month old infants, 3-12 year old children, and Boston College undergraduates to participate in our studies.

The Infant and Child Cognition Lab is a brand new lab situated in the Psychology Department at Boston College, headed by Dr. Sara Cordes. Research in the lab focuses on understanding how infants, children, and adults keep track of number and other quantities. Using simple looking time procedures with 6-18 month old infants and computer games and other simple tasks with children and adults, we are interested in the development of number concepts, investigating how early abilities translate to later verbal counting and mathematics achievement.

Our full website will be launching soon. In the meantime, feel free to email us at BCCognition@gmail.com, download this information sheet, or call us at (617) 552-8652 for more information on how you can participate.
