2004-2007 Boston College Institutional Review Board Member (IRB)
The university board reviews all Boston College human subjects protocol and sets guidelines for research
with human subjects and board members also provide IRB guidance to their academic departments.
Faculty Advising
Primary focus is advising and guiding graduate students doing field-based research, particularly those conducting research related to poverty, low-wage work and family, and inquiry into lived experiences among marginalized populations.
