Parthenon frieze (what's left on the site in Athens)

Enlarged image (1200 pixels)

The best place locally to see the frieze is Brookline High School where casts of the original made from molds taken in the early 19th century have been installed at a height that approximates the Parthenon (restored from the Amos Lincoln School).

Another place in the states to "see" the Parthonon is Nashville, Tennessee.
