Powerpoint presentations:
The second mid-term will be during
class time on Thursday, November 5. It will be a closed-book exam similar to
last year's exam, and it will cover material primarily from chapters 6-10 from
the textbook. However, be sure to review the material from the first 5 chapters
as some ideas from those chapters may appear on this mid-term exam. The class
on Tuesday, November 3 will be a review session for the mid-term exam. You can
link to an on-line version of the Review
Guide for the second mid-term, and you can also view last year's second mid-term. You are welcome to
ask any and all questions during Tuesday's mid-term review session.
