Friends and Hobbies

I love reading: novels, history, philosophy, and comics. I am addicted to Disney and Bonelli's comics. I like watching movies--including Disney's, of course. I go fishing every now and then (catch and release), and I like hiking. Last but not least, I love my motorcycle, Selvaggia, though she is still in California.

Selvaggia

I take my hobbies very seriously.  :-)    My bachelor party was a day at Disneyland:

Here I am with Selvaggia, at the end of a 5,000 miles tour of California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah (June 1995):

More than a hobby is my passion for an Italian soccer club, Torino. I am a grassroots Toro supporter. Being in the "Curva Maratona" of the Torino Stadium with my friends on Sundays is the one thing of Italy I really miss. But I do watch Toro games on TV whenever possible. FORZA TORO!!!

The "Old" Curva Maratona (Stadio Comunale, Torino):

The "New" Curva Maratona (Stadio "Delle Alpi," Torino):

I mentioned my Toro friends. Besides them, I have many other wonderful friends around the world: my former classmates from school in Italy; friends from Bocconi University; the Berkeley Sonnambula Promotions Gang and other friends I met during my graduate studies; Madeleine, Maxime, Dominique, and Stefan; Manrico and his family; Grazia, D'Angelo, Gigi, and Antonio; and many others.

The heart, the mind, and the soul of Sonnambula Promotions: Luis "Il Cugino-Chierichetto," Fabio "Il Profeta," and Alberto "Il Maestro" (Mount Tamalpais, California, Spring 1997):

Here is Antonio:

The Mont Blanc (Italian Alps), a mountain I consider a "friend":

To all my friends, and the family I found among them: Thank you. None of my achievements would have been possible without you.
