| Description: |
Conducted in
partnership with the Peel Board of Education, this project represents
the culmination of a five year program of research and development
in school improvement that the project team has undertaken collaboratively
with six varied secondary schools in one of Canada’s largest
school districts. This final phase of the project concentrated on working
with the schools to develop and implement a survey to all staff in
order to determine the impact of Ontario Secondary School Reform policies
in the schools. It also facilitated networks of dialogue, learning
and support among the schools’ senior administrators, as they
sought to respond to reform mandates in ways that maintained improvement
in their own schools. the results of this report are contained in
Andy Hargreaves, Teaching In The Knowledge Society. |
