Chapter Notes and Figures

Listed below are links to the Turban, McLean and Wetherbe textbook's PowerPoint notes and figures for each chapter. These slides follow the textbook section-by-section, and as such, provide a structured way for you to take notes about the material as you read through the book.

The organization of this table follows the general outline of the class, but as things change, the order of topics covered may change slightly, so please verify you have downloaded the right slides for the present day.

If you choose to print out these slides, I suggest you print out them out as note-pages using the "Print>Outline View" function in PowerPoint, instead of printing out the slides, as many of the slides have a dark background. The figures probably will not be necessary to print, as they are in your book.

I have included links to the same sets of slides on both the Boston College Personal Web Server system and your textbook's WWW site (www.wiley.com/college/turban2e/), in case the BC server is slow.

Note: All of these PowerPoint files are in PowerPoint 97 format. If you are using PowerPoint 95, either get a converter or PowerPoint viewer from Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/default.asp), or if you have a VERY FAST web connection and LOTS of free space, download the PowerPoint 95 slides from the textbook web site (http://www.wiley.com/college/turban2e/index.htm).
