December, 2008 – First year graduate students
Hilan Kaplan, Grace Bauer, and Victor Rendina officially join the
Kingsbury group. Welcome to our new students!
August, 2008 Congratulations to Jamie O'Brien who was selected as a LaMattina Graduate Fellow in Organic Chemistry. This award is in recognition of her outstanding
progress in doctoral research.
November, 2007 –
First year graduate students Adam Johnson and Jennifer Dabrowski
officially join the Kingsbury group. Welcome aboard Adam and Jen!
July, 2007 – Incoming graduate student Adam Johnson begins two months of preliminary research in the Kingsbury group.
June, 2007 – Undergraduates Peter Murphy and Austin Travis join the group full-time as Boston College URF fellows.
March, 2007 – Renovations to Merkert 331 are complete! The group moves into brand new lab space and acquires new instrumentation in the process.
January, 2007 – Sophomore Peter Murphy begins undergraduate research in the lab as part of the Honors Chemistry curriculum.
December, 2006 – Congratulations to David Moebius, recipient of the Thieme publications “SynStar” award for his outstanding performance in the Fall graduate course on modern approaches to chemical synthesis. The prize includes a years’ subscription to a Thieme journal of choice.
November, 2006 – First years Andy Wommack and David Moebius officially join the group along with newcomer Jamie O’Brien. Welcome!
October, 2006 – Professors Kingsbury and Tan complete designs for state-of-the-art laboratory renovations encompassing an entire wing on the third floor of the Merkert Chemistry Center.
July, 2006 – Incoming graduate students Andy Wommack and David Moebius offer to help Jason with his transition back to B.C., unpacking boxes and setting up fledgling experiments in temporary lab space.
