In only their first year in the Atlantic Coast Conference, the Boston College Eagles have played their way to a 6-1 record with wins over Army, Clemson, Ball State, Virginia, and Wake Forest. Their only loss of the season was a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of perenial powerhouse Florida State University. The Eagles stand second in their respective division and in contention for the ACC Championship. Eagles Wide Receiver Will Blackmon and Defensive End Mathias Kiwanuka are also in the running for All-ACC and All-American honors.
