Overview: As a Jesuit institution, BC Law prides itself on its commitment to public service. Many BC Law students participate in pro bono work each year. They do so for leadership development, academic training, career preparation, and community service. Recently, a group of current students and administrators recognized a need to centralize pro bono activities at BC Law, encourage even more students to explore pro bono opportunities, and provide much deserved recognition to those students serving the community through pro bono work. The 2007-2008
academic year will mark the beginning of a new and exciting program here
at Boston College Law School. In August 2007, we will join many of other
peer institutions by unveiling a Pro Bono Program. |
