This course will give students an exposure to various legal and policy issues raised by the internet and its increasing role as a personal, commercial, and public forum. Topics will include: internet governance, jurisdiction, regulation of speech, privacy and anonymity, intellectual property, and various e-commerce issues. The grade for this course will be based on class participation and weekly 2-3 page papers/assignments. There will be no final exam. Enrollment is limited to 30. LL48101.
