This seminar covers covers advanced topics in state and federal trademark and unfair competition law. It gives students an opportunity to explore, in a more in-depth fashion, trademark and unfair competition doctrines and theories. Areas of focus will include: trademark dilution, trade dress protection, internet trademark issues, parody, free speech, and rights of publicity. The grade will be based upon in-class participation and a final research paper. Prerequisite: Intellectual Property Law. LL41401
