Spencer K. Lynn, PhD

I study learning, decision-making, and emotion in humans and animals, and the breakdown of those processes in psychiatric illness. I utilize mathematical modeling, behavioral studies, and EEG/ERP to investigate questions about behavioral function and cognitive mechanism.

My work blends psychological and ecological perspectives on cognition and behavior. The on-going convergence of these complementary perspectives will lead to new understanding of basic behavioral, emotional, and cognitive processes and their evolution.
