Hello! My name is Megan Mahoney and I am a graduate student at Boston College's Lynch School of Education.  I am getting my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a program of studies in Reading Education.  I received my undergraduate degree from Boston College in Elementary Education with Moderate Special Needs and Math and Computer Science.


Right now, I am completing my clinical experience for my Master's Degree at the Garfield Elementary School.  The Garfield School is a K-5 Boston Public School.  I teach Literacy Enrichment three days a week and work with the Reading Recovery teacher during the rest of the week. 


I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and attended Marian High School.  My family still lives in Omaha and I visit every chance that I am able.
 
 
II am a huge Nebraska Cornhusker fan. It was so exciting to win the National Championship for the third time of my life!
