Welcome to the job search resource....

The point of this page is to give you resources that
will help you find a job/internship or atleast see what is out
there.  One of the newest "things" is to take a personality
test which the fortune five hundred companies recruit from.

Monsterboard: list of jobs and you can place your resume online
Boston.com the online Globe advertisements and job listings
                   JobFind list of job opportunities
DiscoverMe: personality test and resume listing reviewed by major companies
CareerCenter: the career center at Boston College also has suggestions and is
                                                       a good place to begin

                 Tips.....
                1. Ask for recommendations from your professor(s) early.
                          2. Sit down with a professor that you know well and ask her/him to look
over your resume and cover letter.
                          3. Job hunting is like college hunting, aim for a couple that seem out of your
reach, the worst thing they can say is not this year.
                          4. Start early.
                          5. Ask your TAs and professors for advice. Remember that your TAs are
not that much older and are also looking for jobs.
                          6. Most importantly, find something that you want to do, even if it is being
                             in a punk rock band.
