Hello Everyone!!
We are Sarah Mares and Chris Carroll, and we are Seniors at the wonderful Boston College! This website was created as a project for our Theories of Instruction class in the Lynch Graduate School of Education at BC. Our site is full of information for social studies and history teachers of all levels. We hope you find some useful information. Enjoy!
Here is a little bit about us:
Sarah is an Elementary Education and Child in Society double major, with a minor in Special Education. You have probably seen her on ESPN and at halftime of the football games performing with Boston College Screaming Eagles Marching Band in the color guard. She also works for the Membership Office in the Flynn Recreation Complex on campus. Last semester, Sarah completed her full practicum at the John Pierce School in Brookline, MA in a third grade classroom. She is currently applying for teaching jobs throughout the greater Boston area. View her resume here!
Chris is a Secondary Education and History double major, with a minor in Special Education. He is Boston College tour guide and active in the intramural sports program. He works for Student Services on campus. Chris completed his full practicum at Waltham High School last fall. He will be enrolled in the Fifth Year Program in the Lynch Graduate School of Education at BC to earn his M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction for the 2007-08 academic year. View his resume here!
