Tim Muldoon

Author, theologian, spiritual director

 

Muldoon color portraitTim Muldoon is a writer and theologian rooted in the Catholic and Ignatian traditions of spirituality.  He is a married father of two daughters by adoption. 

 

Much of his writing has been influenced by the themes of love and loss, and seeking joy in the face of suffering in the world.

 

As a professor of theology, Tim has taught at several colleges, most recently in the College of Arts and Sciences Honors Program at Boston College.

 

Professionally, he has been engaged in questions about the ways that Catholic institutions foster the spiritual lives of young people.  He was the inaugural director of the Church in the 21st Century Center at Boston College, where he now works in the Office of University Mission and Ministry.
