Simsbury, Connecticut was founded in 1670. It is a small town situated about 10 miles northwest of Hartford in the Farmington Valley.
The picture to the left is a view from the top of Talcott Mountain one fall day. It shows the "big white" Church in the center of town. As you can see, Simsbury is primarily trees.
The picture to the right is of Phelp's Homestead, also in the center of town. This was the first family and settlement in Simsbury.
To me, my town is the best place in the entire world, I would choose to be there over anywhere else. My family and friends are a huge part of my home, they make Simsbury as important as it is to me.

This is a picture of my house in Simsbury last Christmas Day. I had just gotten my digital camera from
and was eager to try it out.
