Olga Sorokina, Ph.D., is a Research Economist at ERS Group. Dr. Sorokina joined ERS Group in August 2009 after receiving her Ph.D. in Economics from Boston College. Previously she worked as a Research Associate at the Center for Retirement Research and the Institute for Women's Policy Research.

Dr. Sorokina received her undergraduate degree Summa Cum Laude from Denison University majoring in Mathematical Economics. She earned a Master's in Economics degree at Boston College. The fields of her research are labor economics, public finance, and applied microeconomics. She is particularly interested in the issues of workplace discrimination, human capital development, and retirement security.

Apart from economics research, Olga enjoys volunteering, windsurfing, and running. She participated in her first 10K race in October 2006.
