Olga Sorokina is an Ph.D. Economist with experience in litigation consulting, policy research, and business development. Dr. Sorokina's professional experience includes working as a Research Economist at ERS Group, and as a Research Associate at the Center for Retirement Research and the Institute for Women's Policy Research.

Dr. Sorokina received her undergraduate degree Summa Cum Laude from Denison University majoring in Mathematical Economics. She earned her Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Economics from Boston College. Her research fields are Labor Economics, Financial Economics, and Public Finance. She is particularly interested in credit constraints and their impact on human capital development, as well as discrimination in lending and in the workplace.

Apart from economics research and consulting, Olga enjoys volunteering, windsurfing, and running. She participated in her first 10K race in October 2006.
