Chapter Nine: Did He Really Execute Anybody?
Of course not. Rich people don’t execute poor people; rich people pay poor people to execute poor people. Inevitably, given the rapid pace of executions in Texas, the prison “tie-down team” members suffered post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of their participation in multiple state-sanctioned homicides. Chapter Nine allows them to tell their own stories.
