| He made class relevant to students' career
and future plans. He easily relates to the students and is
knowledgeable in his field.
He's a great teacher and very outgoing. This was a very interactive class and really makes you think about your career choices. One of the best and most useful classes I've ever taken. Professor Walsh is incredibly easy to talk to and clear with his expectations. He's one of the best professors I've ever had. It was perfect for a 2 hour class. Very organized, great lectures. Brought in great speakers and is very enthusiastic. Ian knows every member of the class really well. He structures informative and interesting lessons. He uses multiple resources (blogs, readings, self-assessments, speaker panels, peer coaching, papers and videos) to enhance the class and keep it interesting and effective. He's very engaged and interested. You can tell he puts a lot of effort into the class and has a broad range of knowledge. Professor Walsh has a great capacity to explain hard concepts. He takes time to respond to your questions. He encourages a lot of interactivity inside the class and on the web. Ian Walsh is one of the best. Truly wants to get to know each student individually. Also a very effective speaker.

No way, it was the best course
I took at BC!
I'd like to have more group work. It would be great to network more with the other students in the class. I wish I had more practice with interviewing. I also think you could push us harder to go out and meet people in the field. The class is excellent, no improvements necessary. I didn't really enjoy blogging that much. Too much reading. I would have liked a bit more structure. Grades really tough. Honestly, keep it like this! Requires too much participation and gives too many reading assignments. |
