Boston Coyotes
Please note that this page is new because of the newness of our Boston Study. Our goal is to have this page full of pictures with multiple coyotes by fall/winter 2002.
Maple, a middle-aged, 30 lb, ~5 year old female captured in Revere, a mere 10 minute drive from downtown Boston. The first coyote captured in Boston in our study.

Dr. Bob Binder and Maple. Dr. Binder is the veterinary that we work with in
the Boston area.
Revere high school students with newly radio-collared coyote (Maple).
Maple, notice the sags in her stomach; she is lactating.
Me holding Maple with Revere High School students. Steve Cifuni (second from
right), formerly from Revere High, now works with us on the project as an undergrad
at Boston College. We caught Maple literally in his backyard.
Me taking a picure of Dave Eatough, the science teacher at Revere High School
collaborating with us on the study. Dave and Steve (above picture) have quickly
learned the art of radio-tracking these elusive animals.
Maple and Kelly Worley, employee at MassWildlife - Kelly is in a masters program
at UMass-Boston and is collaborating with us on our coyote project.
