The Story of the Logos
I am a staff member at the ISR, Boston College (logo on left). However, I actually work at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL - logo on the right) at Hanscom AFB in Bedford, MA. At AFRL I am a member of the Solar and Solar Wind Disturbance Prediction group (VSBXS) of the Space Weather Center of Excellence (middle logo). Sounds impressive!

My professional interests include solar coronal physics, coronal mass ejections (CMEs) and space weather, which includes a heavy dose of halo CMEs and their heliospheric characteristics and geoeffectiveness. Currently I am a team member of the AF's Solar Mass Ejection Imager (SMEI) experiment now returning all-sky images from Earth orbit (see Projects page).  For more career details see my:
