Welcome to the Laboratory for Teaching, Learning, and Cognition in the Arts, where we study the cognitive and affective components of learning in the arts.  We study the visual arts, music, theatre, and fiction.  Our studies are supported by funds from the National Science Foundation, the Dana Foundation, and the International Foundation for Music Research, as well as by internal grants from Boston College.
