This course is primarily an introduction to inferential statistics. Topics to be covered include descriptive statistics, elementary probability, the binomial and normal distributions, estimation, and hypothesis testing.

I have office hours: 5:15-6:00 Mondays and Wednesdays before class.

You are welcome to use the previous (12th) edition of the Triola. The problem sets for that edition are here. The problems and the numbering system of the chapter sections have changed, so you'll have to do  a little checking  to match up the problems with what we covered in class.
