Don Cox Professor of Economics

My main interest these days is connecting the economics of the family with evolutionary and reproductive biology, replacing the generic "parent-child" or "person 1/person 2" family members with their real world counterparts: mothers, fathers, sons and daughters (and maternal grandmothers, and paternal uncles, etc.). I also have a longstanding interest in the motivation for private intergenerational transfers.

I created this website to make it easier for people to locate and access my work.

If there is something of mine that you are looking for but can't find here please email me at donald.cox@bc.edu.
