Emma Katherine Atwood

I earned my PhD in English Literature at Boston College where I specialized in early modern drama. My dissertation, “Spatial Dramaturgy and Domestic Control in Early Modern Drama,” explores the social components of early modern domestic architecture and the spatial practices that helped to dramatize them.

I currently teach literature and writing at Boston College and Framingham State University.

On this site you can find my current C.V., an online teaching portfolio, and information about some of my academic work.

In my free time you can find me watching a new play, relaxing with my two rescue dogs, or scuba diving at the nearest beach with my husband.

Lux esto!
