Lab Cleanliness/Safety Reminder

1. Check your area/sink/sonicator before you go home everyday will help keep the lab clean.

2. Solutions/reagent containers should not be left out or open to the air for prolonged periods of time. They should be covered or left in a hood and with an appropriate label.

3. Try not to leave glassware in the sinks and sonicators for an extended amount of time.

4. Everyone have a drawer/drawers now to put their capped samples/solutions in.

5. Safety glasses and gloves take priority over lab coats. However, if you are wearing short sleeves or are working in the hood or with acids/bases you should definitely wear the coat.

6. People who are sitting near the sonicator are in charge of replacing the water weekly or whenever it's necessary.

7. After you finish weighing, please check that the balance is clean.

8. Please return everything after your experiments.

9. If others' set-ups are conflicting with your experiments, please check with your lab-mates and figure out a solution together.
