Graduate students Sara Keefer, Christina Reppucci, and Lauren Anderson visit Northeasten University to present posters at the Third Annual Symposium for Boston-Area Graduate Students in Psychology.

Graduate student Lauren Anderson successfully defended her Master's thesis titled: "Behavioral and neural sex differences in context-dependent renewal of appetitive conditioned responses".

Lab members Heather Mayer and Christina Reppucci joined other members of the Boston College Psychology Department on a visit to a local community center as part of Brain Awareness Week. Here, they taught 3rd-5th graders about the brain through a variety of interactive hands-on activities.


Graduate student Christina Reppucci has been named a recipient of the Donald J. White Teaching Excellence Award for 2013-2014, presented by Patricia DeLeeuw, Vice Provost for Faculties.

Graduate students Lauren Anderson (left), Sara Keefer (center), and Christina Reppucci (right) along with PI Gorica Petrovich traveled to Washington, D.C. to attend Neuroscience 2014. The lab had a great presence at the meeting presenting three posters of our most recent research.

Sindy Cole, Michael Hobin, and Gorica Petrovich's research paper: “Appetitive associative learning recruits a distinct network with cortical, striatal, and hypothalamic regions”, has been accepted for publication in Neuroscience.  

December 2014

Graduate student Christina Reppucci was selected to present her research at the inaugural Advancing Research and Scholarship at Boston College event. This year’s theme was Global public health: Policy, disparity and disease, and Christina presented a poster titled: Distinct amygdalar regions are differentially activated during fear anorexia in male and female rats.
