Homework: Homework will be assigned every week on Wednesdays and will be due on the following Wednesday in class. The assignments will be posted here on this website. The homework problems refer to problems in the textbook unless otherwise specified. Late homework will not be accepted (unless you have an official excuse). If you do not submit a homework in time, you will receive a zero for that assignment. You may work with other people and receive help from others, but you must write up your solutions on your own. Simply copying another's work is unacceptable. You must show all your work.
Grading: Your final grade will be computed as a weighted average as follows.
- Homework: 20%
- Midterm exams: 20% each
- Final exam: 40%
