First Mid-Term Information

The first mid-term will be during class time on Tuesday, October 5. It will be a closed-book exam similar to last year's exam. The class on Thursday, September 30 will be a review session for the mid-term exam. You can link to an on-line version of the Review Guide for the first mid-term, and you can also view last year's first mid-term. You are welcome to ask any and all questions during Tuesday's mid-term review session.

Second Mid-Term Information

The second mid-term will be during class time on Tuesday, November 16. It will be a closed-book exam similar to last year's exam, and it will cover material primarily from chapters 6-11 from the textbook. However, be sure to review the material from the first 5 chapters as some ideas from those chapters may appear on this mid-term exam. The class on Thursday, November 11 will be a review session for the mid-term exam. You can link to an on-line version of the Review Guide for the second mid-term, and you can also view last year's second mid-term. You are welcome to ask any and all questions during Tuesday's mid-term review session.

Final Exam Information

The final exam will be held on Monday, December 20 at 12:30 pm in our regular classroom (Higgins 300). It will be a closed-book exam similar to last year's exam. The final exam is cumulative, so it will cover material from the entire semester. However, much of the final exam (better than 50%) will emphasize the material presented since the second mid-term. Be sure to consult the review guides for each of the two mid-terms so that you know what material from the textbook to review. Material taught in the labs will not be covered on this final exam. You can link to an on-line version of the Review Guide for the final exam, and you can also view last year's final.
