Landmarks of 1920's Paris

shakespeare and co. - the english bookstore founded by sylvia beach.  it was frequented by many of the expatriot writers during hte 1920's and is one of the most famous bookstores in all of paris today.

the bois de boulogne- a favorite visiting spot of hemingway's as he was living in paris.  he'd often go there to see the races or ponder over his current literary effort.
 
gertrude stein's salon- a great ariticle about gertrude stein's home, turned salon where she housed many of the works of the great painters of her time!
