His lab has opening for two postdoctoral students. Most of his postdoctoral students have gone on for academic carriers. Vita, two letters of recommendations, and reprint/reprint of published work (if not, a copy of Ph.D. thesis) are required.
Undergraduate and High School Students:
His lab has opening for several undergraduate (through out the school year) and high school students (over the summer months).
Past high school students have come from such states as Oklahoma, California, Indiana, Tennessee, Nebraska, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island (including foreign countries such as Germany). Undergraduate students in his lab have gone on to win Phi Beta Kappa, Goldwater scholarship, NSF Pre-doctoral Fellowships, and highly prestigious T. Richard Norris Award from the American Chemical Society, for example. These students have gone on to top-notch graduate programs in chemistry/physics, medical, law, and business schools.
Several extraordinarily talented high school students from his group have gone on to be finalists and/or semi-finalists (as well as first place winners) at the prestigious International Science and Engineering Fair, Intel Science Talent Search (formerly Westinghouse Science Talent Search), Siemens Science and Engineering competition. Other awards include National Merit Finalist, Lucent Fellow, Donaldson Fellow, and All USA Academic Team, for example.
