Tom Groden! How's it going up at BC? I recently was surfing around the website, it looks great. You've put a lot of work into it and it was fun to check in on what other alums are up to.

I'm actually living in the DC area now working at a law firm called McKee Nelson LLP as a tax litigator, www.mckeenelson.com. I've been working here almost 2 years now (hard to believe). In fact, just the other day I had the shocking realization that I'm going to be 30 in about a year and have been out of college for over 7 years! Crazy.

Re golf. I'm hoping to make it up to a football game this year. Is there going to be an alumni weekend? If so, hopefully I can work my schedule with that. Anyway, I can probably come up a day early and get in a round on the Friday before the game if that works out for you. I'll keep you posted on what my plans are. My last round was one of the strangest in my life. As I don't play much anymore (work, marriage, house, etc.), I usually shoot around 90 when I get out. Last round I was 6 over going into 17 (looking to shoot in the 70's for the first time since college!), then I made an 8 on 17 and a 9 on 18 for a total of 97. Complete melt down. I've been dubbed Van de Velde for that performance.

Other swimmers: Bob Foley will be starting his second year of business school at UT Austin in the fall (Bob in Texas... it still baffles the mind). Jon Hartigan is still living and working in Boston with his wife Kate (BC '01). Ken Barton is living in New York and working as an editor at Norton (they publish academic books as well as a few other things, like the 9/11 Commission Report).

Please feel free to post an update, and I'll talk to you soon. Best of luck with the 2008-09 season!

Chris
