Going into the second half of the meet, the Eagles trailed 66 to 65.

The diving break brought the Eagles points with the first and second place finishes by Chris Wilson Byrne (Massachusetts) and Sean Mayes (Florida).  The 100 freestyle after the break was a great race for Boston College, Matt Northrup led the way with a first place finish (49.36) followed by Andy Faughnan, (who tied for second place)  Brian Hill (New Jersey) and Dan Kollar.  That race put the Eagles ahead to stay.  Tim Tully racked up his second win for the day in the 200 Backstroke with Andy Naumann right behind him in third place.  Brandon Twitchell also won his second event for the day in the 200 Breaststroke (2:14.17),   Jack Naylor (California) picked up third place points to help out the Eagles.  The men's distance crew swam a fast 500 Freestyle, Tim Tully (with only a five minute rest) brought home a second place followed in by David Herman in fourth and Tom Nececkas (New Jersey) in sixth.  Freshman Jonathan Salibra (Ohio) in a close race, surged from behind to touch out Brandeis's Berman  to win the 100 Fly in 55.56.  Michael Cartwright, Kurt Zwald and Drew Fromm (Michigan) also swam fast races.  Brandon Twitchell and Andy Naumann went 1-2 to the wall in the difficult 400 Individual Medley race.  The Eagles closed out the meet by capturing the 200 freestyle relay as Matt Northrup anchored with a 21.72.  He was given an even race with the two Brandeis relays by Andy Faughnan, Dan Kollar and Brad O'Brien.  The final score of the meet was Boston College 147 to Brandeis's 114.  The Eagles record stands at 2-1 and they face off against Binghamton University on Saturday, November 15th at noon.
