Joins Liz Byron ’06 for Second Winner in Two Years for Eagles Swimming & Diving
Wilson-Byrne ’07, from
did not win this award on just his academics.
While at BC Chris has won three of the swim programs awards (besides the
Kane Award). In his freshman season, Chris
won the Mary Pawlak Award – Coaches Award. In his second year he was given the Kevin
Conway Award – for the Outstanding Sophomore.
This recognized a year in which Chris showed exceptional
improvement. Chris topped all of that
here in his senior year when he was chosen a winner of the BC Swimming &
Diving’s Most Valuable Performer. In his
senior year Chris lead the team in individual first place finishes – despite only
two events per meet (while swimmers have three events). Chris broke a twenty-one year old school
record in the one meter diving – dual meet standard. The old mark was set by Geoff Geis ’86 during
his senior year over two decades ago.
Chris graduates as one of the top two divers to ever represent
This is the

the James J Kane Award for Academics.
She was a two time MVP and also a three time winner of the HM Groden
Award for Outstanding Performance of the season (2005, 2004 and 2003). Liz who came to BC from
