GE 146 - Origin and Evolution of Life on Earth.

Here are some links to Darwin and his theory of Evolution:

The Origin of Species. This site contains the entire text of Darwin's classic work, which is required reading for this course. I recommend buying the book itself, but if you're strapped for cash, here's the alternative.

You might want to check out the text of The Voyage of the Beagle, also by Charles Darwin. It's classic Victorian naturalist dialog.

You can find out about Charles Darwin's grandfather, Erasmus Darwin who wrote some very interesting "proto-evolutionary" biology in the 1700's.

The Darwin Correspondence Project at the University of Cambridge, is an extensive high quality resource of all of Darwin's correspondence.

Also, let's not forget the other half of the story. Alfred Russel Wallace.
